All Chapter Dinner (Chajio)

Every other month during the school year beginning in September, BSLC selects a different school chapter to host our All Chapter Dinner or our chajio (Swahili for dinner). The purpose of these gatherings is to first promote unity among our chapters and members and provide pertinent updates and announcements. Although our members attend different schools, our culture and cause should transcend school and district lines. The All Chapter Dinner or chajio is open to current membership, alumni, parents and families of members, youth who are eligible for membership, community partners, sponsors, and school administrators/contacts. Although we do not require it, we ask that all participants bring a dish, dessert or drink item. Dress attire is casual except for May as we honor our seniors by issuing a graduation chord to be worn during their commencement. Eligible seniors must meet all requirements for BSLC engagement.
